Overview
The EBT731-STA kit from TSI Alnor is an ergonomic, lightweight solution for capturing accurate direct air volume readings at diffusers and grilles during electronic air balancing. The kit includes the EBT731 Balometer Capture Hood and Capture Hood Stand, as well as a Smart Tablet loaded with the TSI LogDat™ Mobile App.
All-in-one
The EBT731 Hood combines multiple measurement tools into one instrument to save you time and money. It includes a detachable digital micromanometer with carrying case, as well as an 18-inch Pitot probe and two Static Pressure probes. With its ergonomic, lightweight design, one person can take full control of the EBT731 and perform all necessary measurements.
The EBT731 can also automatically sense and display supply or return flows to save time on the job. The unit’s back pressure compensation feature also helps to ensure accurate readings. All this means that with the EBT731, one person can do the job, and do it right the first time. That saves time and helps you create healthy and energy efficient environments while meeting local codes, guidelines and regulations for ventilation systems.


Capture Hood Stand
The included Capture Hood Stand makes it even easier for one user to perform all electronic air balancing tasks. The stand extends up to 15-feet in height, meaning ceiling diffuser measurements can be taken without a ladder. Four brackets secure the hood onto the stand. The stand also features three rotating caster wheels to easily move the unit around a job site.

Smart Tablet
The EBT731-STA kit also comes with a Smart Tablet pre-loaded with the TSI LogDat™ Mobile App. When using the tablet and app, users can connect to the capture hood’s detachable micromanometer via Bluetooth to remotely take readings and log measurement data for review or export.
Detachable Micromanometer
The EBT731 also includes a detachable micromanometer. This device can accurately measure pressure, velocity and flow to help you meet industry standards and local regulations. The ability to detach this unit adds additional versatility because it can be used with optional probes. The micromanometer will accept pitot, air flow (straight pitot), temperature/relative humidity, velocity matrix, or thermoanemometer probes, opening possibilities in multiple measurement applications.
The micromanometer also includes a range of other unique features. An auto-zeroing pressure sensor reduces the number of steps for the user and saves time.

Automatic density correction helps to increase reading accuracy. A large graphic display with backlight makes the unit extremely easy to use, and allows viewing of up to five measurements simultaneously. An integrated Log-Tchebycheff duct traverse application helps simplify calculations and save time. When it’s time to export data, the micromanometer allows for data transfer via USB cable and Bluetooth wireless communication.
