Comet M1200E – Multilogger Thermometer with 4 Thermocouple Inputs

M1200E is a battery operated datalogger that allows to monitor the actual measured values on the device display or to work with historical data in Comet Vision, where you can create table charts, PDF export, MS EXCEL. The device is designed for measuring and recording with 4 inputs for thermocouples K, J, S, B, T, N.

Included is a traceable calibration certificate in accordance with EN ISO/IEC17025.

Evaluation of up to 16 Variables

Up to 16 variables may be calculated from the four connected probes / sensors. This is the sum of the measured and calculated values. The calculated values can be a further expression of moisture – dew point temperature, absolute humidity, specific humidity, mixing ratio, specific enthalpy. It can be also the result of inter-channel conversions, for example, the difference of two connected temperature probes.

The measured values are stored in the internal non-volatile memory. Memory capacity is up to 1 million values. Logging mode can be adjusted as non-cyclic, when logging stops after filling the memory, or cyclic, when after fulfilling the memory oldest stored values are overwritten by new ones. Measured values are displayed on the screen with backlight option and the ability to change the size of display digits

Up to 4 Thermocouple Inputs

Removable inputs allow the connection thermocouple probes K, J, S, B, T, N. The direct input of bipolar voltages ranges from -60 to +140 mV. Also connect sensors with voltage output.

Alarm Limits and Indication

It is possible to set two independent alarm limits for each channel (measured or calculated value). Alarm signalization can be acoustic (built-in beeper), optical, sending an e-mail alert or an alarm output. The alarm output is for connecting an external audio or visual alarm. Users can receive alarms if the values go outside the parameters set. Alarms are indicated through an internal buzzer or 3 LEDs.

Alarm output can be used for controlling other devices when alarm is launched, such as external buzzer, telephone dialer etc.

COMET Vision 2.0 – Analytic and Configuration Software

The recorded data can be transferred to a PC via USB cable or via GSM network for further analysis. Obtained values can be displayed in the form of a table or graph. Data and reports can be printed or exported for further processing. Comet Vision software 2.0 allows setting of device and simple data analysis. Comet database software allows collecting data from unlimited numbers of Comet devices and displaying measuring channels from unlimited number of devices on one screen. Comet cloud supports easy online access to measured data.
